Responsibilities:

Enforcement of the village code of the Village of Waterville, as well as any state and local laws, statutes, ordinances, codes, rules or regulations pertinent to matters within the jurisdiction of the village government, as follows:

Inspections to determine compliance with codes, ordinances, local laws, rules and regulations within the jurisdiction of the village. Investigations to determine the existence of violations of codes, ordinances, laws, rules or regulations received and/or observed. Perform other duties as may be deemed necessary by the Village Board.

Building Permit Fee Schedule

• Residential Structure up to 1500 square feet | $50.00
• Residential Structure over 1500 square feet  | $.25 per additional square foot
• Multiple Dwellings – New | $100 per unit
• Commercial Structure up to 2500 square feet | $100.00
• Commercial Structure over 2500 square feet | $.30 per additional square foot
• Demo Permit | $50.00
• Pool Permit – Above Ground | $35.00
• Pool Permit – Inground | $50.00
• Building Permit Renewal – Extends permit 1 year | $25.00
• Sign Permit | $25.00
• Fence Permit | $25.00
• Zoning Permit – Change of Use | No Fee
